Rhys is an HR professional with over 20 years’ experience, qualified to Level 7 with a Post Graduate Diploma from London Metropolitan University and is a chartered member of the CIPD (MCIPD). He has a broad generalist background and can provide expert HR advice and support to maximise the effectiveness of your UK HR operations; including:

  • Employment contracts – ensure all contracts are compliant with UK lawAbsence management – advice and guidance on the management of both short- and long-term sickness absence

  • Disciplinary and grievance – ensure issues are dealt with fairly and comply with UK regulation

  • Review policies and staff handbooks to ensure that policies are fair, consistent and compliant with UK law

  • Recruitment – Ensure up-to-date recruitment procedures and best practice, working with managers to ensure you attract and retain the best staff. 

  • Review of existing HR systems and procedures with recommendations to improve efficiency

  • Provide support and advice on managing change, restructures, and redundancies

  • Family friendly policies – providing advice on the complex issues relating to all family leave policies.

  • Performance management 

  • Support and training to line managers and staff.

  • Support on daily HR issues
